The Brooks Cottages of Tippecanoe
The Brooks Cottages of Tippecanoe is a 14-acre residential subdivision located on the west side of S. CR 25A north of Randall Residence Assisted Living Facility. This subdivision will contain 74 single-family connected homes. The development mimics the look of a condominium development (connected homes in groups of 4-6 units), but creates individual lots of record. Chamberlain's Pond will be the result of a project of U.S. Fish and Wildlife and H2Ohio. The project, east of town on SR 571, will restore off channel habitat along the Great Miami River near the confluence of Honey Creek in Tipp City, Ohio. The area includes restored wetlands, a basin that is approximately 9.5 acres, and connections to the river made after the basin was revegetated. Summit Landing is a proposed new residential subdivision to be located off of Peters Road, north of the Windmere Subdivision. If approved the applicant has indicated that they would pursue approval for a 216 unit multi-family apartment complex that would include 9 apartment buildings, 7 separate garage buildings (84 covered spaces) and include a clubhouse, pool and common space.
