Reinvestment in our infrastructure (ladder truck, Fire/EMS station, repaving streets, street projects, etc.) is a priority for Tipp City Council. In October of 2010 the 21-person Citizen’s Committee was formed to explore the Capital Improvements needs for Tipp City. The Committee met, reviewed projects, and made a recommendation to place a Tax Levy on the ballot to fund Tipp’s needed infrastructure improvements. The recommendations of the Committee are the basis of the city’s 10-year Capital Improvement Plan. In May of 2011, the voters of Tipp City approved a 0.50% 10-year Capital Improvement Levy. This Tax Levy will raise +/- $20 million dollars for needed capital improvements over the 10-year life of the tax levy.
