Who do I call when my electric power is out?

Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, call Tipp City Utilities at 667-8424. After hours and on the weekends, call 1-844-287-9792 (toll free).

Who do I call when a street light or security light is not working properly?

Call Tipp City Utilities at 667-8424.

Who do I call when I have an issue with the trash (not picked up, need a large item pick up, etc)?

Call Waste Management at 1-866-695-3433 (toll free).

Can I make a payment with a credit card?

Yes, credit card payments are now accepted with Mastercard, Discover and American Express. View/Pay your Utility Bill.

Who is responsible for the repair to the water and sewer lines coming into my house?

The City maintains the water lines in the street up to the curb box. The curb box is the shut off valve located near the side walk. The property owner is responsible for water lateral repairs from the curb box to the house. The water meter is maintained by the City. The City maintains the sewer mains in the street. The property owner is responsible for repairs to the sewer from its connection to the main into the house.

Is Tipp City water softened?

Yes. At the plant we are able to reduce the minerals in the water responsible for hardness.

What is the hardness of Tipp City Water?

The water hardness averages 140 milligrams per liter (mg/l) or 8.2 grains per gallon (gpg).
